Glass-fibre Reinforced Polymer (FRP)

Glass Fibre Plastic (FRP) is essentially a structural material that belongs to the larger family of composite materials. As a matter of fact, modern composites owe their genesis to glass fibre reinforced polyester developed in 1940s. The composite basically consists of e-glass fibre and polyester resin that has excellent mould ability with several desired qualities such as lightweight, high strength, high stiffness, toughness, chemical resistance, electrical properties, aesthetic appeal, etc

  Advantages

  • Easy mould ability to architectural forms and shapes.
  • High strength to weight ratio
  • Lightweight
  • Seamless watertight construction
  • Wide performance range with durability
  • Resistance to corrosion from Salt water, chemical and environment.
  • Good electrical characteristics
  • Heat and sound insulation
  • Tanslucency and colour impregnation

Applications

Architectural panel such as decorative column cladding, facade treatment, insulated, non insulated domes of mosques and commercial buildings. Bath tubs, shower trays, wash basins, garden fountains. Water tanks, A.C covers, vanity tops. Gold and silver jewels fine finals for domes. Artificial rocks, garden planters. Stadium canopies, electrical enclosures. Portable cabins, prefabricated houses, watchman booth, vending kiosks, etc.
